team info

there is a brief overview of what we suggest for each position's gear setup [HERE]. This is not a direct guideline of what we will and will not except for each position, but rather recommendations so that the gear can match the needs of the positions below.

CQB (Close Quarters Battle) - These are the players who like to get up close and personal with their opponents. They are the ones pressing the flanks, pushing the offense, and storming the trenches. Typically a CQB would favor a light setup with a well balanced, low profile gun. These would be the most aggressive players on the team with an "in your face" playing style.

Rifleman - The rifleman is the lifeblood of the team. Able to tackle most situations and challenges, the rifleman is responsible for providing the muscle a squad needs to push back when things get heavy. Riflemen are also able to adapt to the other positions in their squad so that if a CQB gets eliminated, he/she would be able to take over those duties with ease. Riflemen are one of the most important positions, because without them we wouldnt have much of a team.

Support Gunner - Support gunners are the strong, patient types. Able to heft a lot of gear and ammo onto the field and around with them, they know when to lay off and when to lay it out. Using suppressive fire they can open up opponent positions allowing CQB's and Riflemen to press in and grab a victory. They may not have the highest kill rate on the team, but they always come through for the rest of the team.

Sniper - The Sniper also acts as a scout, being sent well ahead of friendly forces to observe and report opponent movements and strengths, when not scouting the sniper is given missions, such as eliminating a key opposing player. In either situation the sniper relies on stealth, camo, and patience. The E.P.I.C. Unit Sniper is not an action junkie, but rather a real-life chess player. Moving and planning so that they can spring their trap on their opponents.
